Meet Uchendu

I'm Uchendu E. Uchendu. In professional life, I'm a young university graduate trying to do what other graduates are doing, and totally hating it. In my alternative life, I'm transforming myself and my community little by little, day by day. I love teaching people, especially teenagers and children. One reason is that it is so much easier. But the real reason is that it warms my heart to see how happy kids are when they finally get to understand something. That's really special.

I also love reading books, a great majority of them non-fiction. I enjoy listening to audiobooks and great speeches (Jesse Jackson, one of my all-time favourites), and stuff on psychology, behavior, motivation and stuff like that.

Erm...what else? Okay, one of my dreams is to ride a tiger--literally, and take a pic of me on the tiger for the heck of it.

One last thing: I kind of enjoy speaking to audiences. I really do. I relish the opportunity and prepare to near-death for it. I speak with a lot more power and confidence before an audience than before a person. Is that weird?
